ceramic torsos

Sink your hands into wet clay. and you'll know what I feel when I create a new piece. These torso studies are always a work in progress. No two are exactly alike, but I can make you one that resembles one of these.

Many of the torsos are mounted on handmade frames of wood or... whatever I find that looks right. Most are glazed, some are painted with acrylics, some of them I break, deform and "suture" them with copper wire and.. take a look inside and you'll see.

This is a new venture for me, expanding my horizons so that I can do almost anything working with ceramics.

I haven't painted in a while, but I have a body of work that I hope you will like. some of the pieces are still available. I paint in acrylics, oils, and a mix of lithographer's ink and oil pastels.

If the original painting is sold, I can make an enhanced giclee of most of these pieces. All of my giclees are printed under my supervision . I then enhance them by retouching them, and then I stretch the canvas and frame it myself.

Everyone likes to play, and this is how I play. I make incense holders, night lights, matchbox covers and occasional table pieces in clay.

These are inexpensive and make great gifts for bridesmaids, office parties, corporate gifts and more.!
